The main malfunctions of the generator
- There is no voltage and the generator works without a load, (for one of the following reasons)
- AVR circuit fuse is damaged
- The presence of shorts in the circle of unification mounted on the X
- Separation or shorts with auxiliary fixed body coils
- Separation of the auxiliary coils feeding the AVR circuit
- Loss of residual magnetism (for modern generators that do not need external DC power)
- Generator speed is low
- Separation in the secondary coil of the control transformer
- The generator voltage is low and it works without load (for one of the following reasons)
- Damage to the unification circuit installed on the Ax
- Generator speed is low
The air gap of the control adapter is very small
- Decreased file isolation
- The generator voltage is high and it works without load, (for one of the following reasons)
- The presence of shorts in the secondary coil of the control transformer
- Generator speed is high
The air gap of the control transformer is large
- The generator voltage drops when loading, (this is for one of the following reasons)
The load is greater than the generator capacity
- Double diesel engine
Decreased isolation of auxiliary or main body coils
- The generator voltage is not fixed (wobbly), (due to one of the following reasons)
The generator speed is not fixed
- The terminals of the control circuit are not good (Bad contact)
- Overheating of the generator (for one of the following reasons)
- Overload
- Cooling air passages are not clean, covered with dust
